A New Year's Message
Beloved:
This has been an interesting year. A year of growth within the church, within the community, within our own spiritual lives.
We have seen the hand of God move individuals to follow the example and witness of Jesus Christ and His teachings.
Our little church on Madison’s Northside keeps quietly making a difference. And we do so with authenticity. Authentic worship. Authentic prayer. Authentic service of God’s Creation.
We didn’t need Eric Holder, or Mandela Barnes, or Juliana Bennett, or the mayor or the county executive to tell us that Sherman Church is not only special, but has favor from God. God affirms that to us every time our pantry and boutique open to serve our community, every time a child or woman is elevated, every time a soul is saved.
We have done much this year through Christ who does strengthen us. Without fanfare. Consider helping Sherman close the year strong, and begin 2026 on fire for Jesus.
