Beloved,
As the seasons change and Thanksgiving approaches, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude for each of you and for the blessings we share as a church family. This year has brought its challenges, but our faith has been a constant source of strength and hope, guiding us through trials and reminding us of our shared worth in God's eyes.
I am deeply thankful for the resilience, grace, and love that define this community. Our church is more than a building; it is a spiritual home, a place of fellowship, and a testament to God's enduring power in our lives and our history.
Let us take this time to not only give thanks for the material blessings we have, but also for the spiritual ones—for the gospel, for our salvation, and for the privilege of worshipping together. Let us also remember the lessons of our ancestors and the strength that has been passed down through generations.
I am thankful for our growth, both spiritually and physically as a church. I am thankful for the ministerial team, the worship team and the leadership team.
However, I am particularly thankful for your spirit of service and your willingness to help one another and our community. Whether through volunteering, offering a word of encouragement, or simply being present, your actions demonstrate the love of Christ in a tangible way. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and they are a true blessing to us all.
As we gather with our families this week, may we carry this spirit of thankfulness with us. I look forward to celebrating with you at our upcoming Advent services and giving thanks together for all that God has done.
With deepest appreciation,
Rev. David
